JOIN OUR TEAM
We believe one of the best ways to get involved and create community is to serve in our city through the local church. Hilmar Covenant touches lives and serves others because of its volunteers. From easy to difficult, every serving role is critically important. There are tons of places to get involved and do something you love – greet people and get things set up on Sunday mornings, teach children, hang out with junior/senior high schoolers, play in the worship band, join the tech team, and more! We’re certain there is a place for you no matter where you are at in your journey of faith. Try something out and see if it's for you...you can always switch to something else if that isn't your fit!
MUSIC PROGRAMS
We have many different music programs in which to get involved. The Worship Team leads the singing during Sunday morning worship and consists of singers and instrumentalists. Contact Pastor Katherine for more information about Worship Team.
We also have Choir and Handbell Choirs, which both provide special music during services. For more information on choirs, contact Marilyn Fullmer.
BUS MINISTRY
Every Sunday a driver takes a bus to pick up members of the congregation to bring them to service. Contact Karen Souza for more information.
ROOTED YOUTH GROUPS
Rooted High School and Rooted Middle School are great places to connect with students and guide them toward loving Jesus. Contact Ashley for more information.
MISSIONS COMMITTEE
The Missions Committee meets together to plan missions trips, set up fundraisers, and send money to support our missionaries. Contact Pastor Katherine for more information.
TECH TEAM
Sunday mornings wouldn't be possible without the tech team. They manage the camera, sound system, lighting, and powerpoint. Don't worry about having prior experience...if you're new, they will train you! Contact Andrew Postma for more information.
FRONTLINE TEAM
Frontline is our Sunday morning ministry to one another. Frontline ministry includes opening and closing facilities, welcoming and greeting, collecting offering, serving snacks, and putting out and bringing in signs. For more information, contact the church office.
SMALL GROUP LEADER
Are you interested in leading a small group? Call the church office if you would like more information about what this entails.
STEWARDSHIP TEAM
Responsible for the financial aspects of the church. Develops and manages the budget and all that entails. Meets at 6am on the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of each month. Contact Art DeRooy for more information.
HOSPITALITY TEAM
Responsible for coordinating events such as bridal showers, baby showers, and funeral receptions. Contact the church office for more information.
