Interested in guiding children through the alaskan wild to the True north?! Awesome! Here's what you need to know.
VBS is June 15th through the 19th. We ask our volunteers to arrive no later than 8:30am and they are expected to stay until about 12:30 or 12:45pm. Breakfast is provided starting at 8am.
Anyone entering 8th grade and above can volunteer, We do ask that volunteers under the age of 18 have a release form signed by their parents. This is available to print HERE.
We do require ALL our volunteers to attend volunteer trainings. The dates for the trainings are:
First Training Day; Safety - Saturday, May 23rd 10am - 11am OR Tuesday, May 26th 6pm - 7pm
Second Training Day; Jobs - Tuesday, June 9th 10am - 11am OR Thursday, June 11th 6pm - 7pm
We do require all our volunteers to attend BOTH trainings. For example: May 23rd and June 11th. OR May 26th and June 9th.
When you sign up, you will be asked where you will like to serve in VBS. This year's positions are a bit different from in the years past. Please take a moment to look at the position names and descriptions below. Please be aware that these positions are first come, first serve basis and are not promised.
Time commitment: 8:30am - 12:30pm

The Crew Leader will lead a small group of about 5 elementary age kids. They will attend 2 training meetings and get ready to lead kids in discovering the True North! Participate with your Crew at Sing & Play Peak opening and Campus Closing, play at Glacier Games, explore your creativity at Imagination Station, learn bible verses at Sticky Scripture, and learn about Jesus at Wild Bible Adventures!
